Dear Rachel,
My name is Gianna and I am 4 years old. I just left CHOC at Mission Hospital and I wanted to say thank you for the beautiful bear, it really helped me when I was so afraid. I did really well in my surgery but I was so scared when they took my blood pressure and removed my I.V.'s. They brought me your bear and it made me so happy and helped me be brave.

My parents and I think you are a very special and generous girl to think of us kids in the hospital, which can be a pretty scary place. Thank you for saving your money to buy something that was so thoughtful and means so much to me, it was truly appreciated.

My name is Faith, I am 9 years old. I had surgery last week at CHOC Hospital. The nurses gave me your cuddly brown bear. It meant a lot to me! Thank you for caring for other people and sharing your bears.

i was in the hospital for a while and felt very scared and sad. The one thing that made me feel happy and gave me strength was your bear. The note that was around the bear's neck was so nice. I really appreciate all that you are doing, you are a blessing. The hospital is a scary place and your bear gave me strength and hope, I can't thank you enough for giving it to me. I am better now but I still have your bear and I always will.

Rachel,
My daughter Anna (2 ½) and I want to thank you for the beautiful bear she received while at the PICU in Mission Hospital. What a wonderful thing for you to do. Anna was hit by a car crossing the street and had to stay in the hospital because she got a little sick from it and one of the first smiles came when she saw your bear. She still sleeps with it every night!
