"Rachel's Hug-A-Bears are so popular with all of our patients at CHOC at Mission! It enables us to give each child a special new bear to love and comfort them during their time in the hospital and after they go back home. I hear from families all the time that the bear their child received during their hospitalization is their "special favorite one" for years to come!  

Rachel's Hug-A-Bears have been our main source of beautiful, safe new bears for several years now. They have been a consistent donor, which means so much to our organization. We look forward to receiving new batches, and always know that the bears will be of the highest quality. The children just love them!  

A patient may receive the bear as a comfort upon their arrival to one of the inpatient units, waiting for them on their bed when they are checked in. Some patients are given a bear which can accompany them to a procedure, such as an x-ray, CT scan or MRI or as a reward after after a procedure for a job well done!”
